Already a nurse practitioner (NP) seeking the DNP degree?
Registered nurses who are master's-prepared, certified, licensed, and practicing nurse practitioners retain their specialty and earn the DNP degree in this program.
Program Information
Program Highlights
- Program of study includes a minimum of 500 clinical hours
- Intentionally small cohorts that allow for personalized attention from faculty
- Option to focus on integrative health and/or palliative care (one focus area is required)
- Translate best evidence into practice
- Demonstrate leadership in macro and micro health care systems
- Proactively strive for social justice
- Actively address health disparities
- Function with cultural humility as practitioners who relate effectively with diverse and underserved individuals, families, and populations
