RN to BSN Program

The University of Portland RN to BSN program is specifically designed for nurses who have completed an associate pre-licensure program and have RN licensure. The program has been designed through a collaborative pathway that incorporates both prior learning from pre-licensure nursing education along with RN to BSN completion course work. It is structured as a part-time, hybrid-format, with classroom content delivered online, and individualized, face-to-face support by faculty in the practice experiences. This approach allows returning nurses as well as those entering the nursing profession to balance education along with continuing work and personal responsibilities.
