This unique program is designed as a part time program for nurses who have already completed an associate degree and have RN licensure. This is a flexible, individualized and supportive hybrid BSN program with online and self-scheduled clinical in your own work setting. Students benefit from achieving their goals from the comfort of their own home and on their own time with online classes. Receive face to face faculty support with customized course projects based on your own clinical practice environment. This approach allows returning nurses as well as those entering the nursing profession to keep a strong balance between education, work and personal responsibilities. Admission Requirements

  • Completion of an associate degree in nursing or in the last year of a pre-licensure associate degree in nursing program
  • Completion of the statistics prerequisite (within the last five years) and completed by the start of the second semester of the program
  • Applicant's RN license must be active by the start of the second semester of the program

How to Apply

Applicants interested in the School of Nursing RN to BSN program, must complete the admission requirements prior to entering the program. The priority application deadline is April 15, 2018. Final application deadline is April 30, 2018. Applicants accepted to the program begin summer classes June 20, 2018 - August 8, 2018!

  2. $50 Admission Application Fee. Make checks payable to University of Portland.
