Master of Science (MS) Nurse Educator (NE)

The master of science degree in nursing nurse educator (NE) concentration is designed for the registered nurse with a bachelor's degree in nursing, who desires to teach in academic and/or healthcare delivery systems. Teaching experiences occur in classroom, as well as in clinical, laboratory, and simulation settings. Optional experiences are available in professional staff development. Students design and implement a scholarly project and disseminate the project outcomes. The program is 41 credits. Full-time coursework is completed in 6 semesters. Successful completion of this program qualifies graduates to take the National League for Nursing, Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) examination
